"Valentines Day is for everyone"
Happy Valentine’s Day! I can’t believe that it’s already February. It was just New Year’s Eve a few weeks ago. I suddenly thought of making a new blog post, I don’t know why but maybe because I wanted everyone to know that February 14 is not for the couples only but for all of us. Being single on Valentine’s Day could get really annoying for some. But there are actually fun ways to do even if you are currently single. In this blog, I will share five ways on how to spend the day a lot better and more fun.
1. LOOK GOOD
It feels a lot better when you know that you are looking good and all. Wearing nice clothes could make the day more interesting and positive. If you’re a girl, try to doll up yourself. And if you’re a guy, try wearing a fancy scent of perfume. Wearing clothes that you like makes you more confident the whole day and that's really important.
2. TREAT YOURSELF
If no one will treat you on Valentine’s Day, try to treat or spoil yourself. It can be a delicious cup of BLK 513’s charcoal frozen yogurt or a bowl of ramen. Or if you’re not a food enthusiast try watching a movie in 3D or 4D. There are more things that you can do rather than just listening to senti songs alone in your room and asking yourself why your bf/gf never came back. Just kidding haha! You could also send yourself a bouquet of flowers if you want… it’s a thing now.
3. SPEND IT WITH YOUR FRIENDS
Barkada moments are always fun. Why not try spending it with your closest friends and go for a lunch or dinner. You can also try reconnecting with your long time no see kind of friend (if that isn't going to be awkward). Or try bar hopping, especially if you and your friends likes to party and go wild at 2am in the morning. Haha!
4. GO TRAVEL
Valentine’s Day could also be a day of relaxation, forget about your problems and deadlines for a while and spend the time all for yourself. Travelling doesn't always mean spending lots of cash, there are a lot of beautiful places to go from which are inexpensive and budget friendly. Instead of going out of town, why not enjoy the pleasure of our own country? Tagaytay could be a great choice! There are good places to dine in while catching fantastic views and heights.
5. SPEND IT WITH YOUR FAMILY
Well, what could be better than spending it with your family and relatives? The good thing here is that you don’t need to worry if you are eating with someone who cheats behind your back. Haha! Family time is always important. Try to put your phone down even just for a while and just live in the moment. Spend some time with your parents. They’re not going to be around forever.
Hope this blog post made you less senti and more motivated to enjoy Valentine’s Day. If you want to share some ways on things to do, don’t hesitate to share them in the comments below. Have an amazing day ahead!
