Here it is! Our very first travel blog post, and I can't wait to share all the fun adventures that we did back then. Working on this blog made me remember almost everything (except those lightheaded nights, ya know *wink*) I was 6 years old when I first visited the beautiful island of Boracay and its my 3rd time now. It felt really great to literally see my childhood summer memories in real life again. Our hotel was located at Station 1, the best station for us because the "lumot" invasion (lol) there was really low compared to the other stations. We arrived at the island at around 4pm, just in time for Boracay's sunset, it really does have this different vibe that every bakasyonistas are tweeting, IG-ing etc.
Based on our experience, morning is the best time for a swim in Bora. The suns heat won't kill you and of course who doesn't like starting a day in a paradise. Having your breakfast by the beach is also great, make sure you're with someone or your family you won't regret it. Afternoons can also be great for a swim but the water won't be much visible underneath plus the island will be on low tide by that time.
These young locals rule the white sands of Boracay!
To all coffee and frappe lovers of Starbucks, they have it at Bora! Located in station 1, perfect for night chillouts with your friends or family while stargazing by the beach or having a quick grab of those cold brew coffee on a hot sunny day by the beach. The photo on right was at Gerry's Grill located just beside Starbucks . Imagine yourself having lunch while having a perfect view of the island, it was one of the best!
Bora looks way too crowded here, but for me it's actually just right knowing that it's the peak season of summer. Plus, it makes the island more lively!
Believe me, these coconut trees are ridiculously photogenic.
Everyone is taking the time of their lives for their mandatory Bora sunset shots!!!
The famous grotto/Willy Rock!
Hope you guys enjoyed this blog post and learned a thing or two about Boracay. Have a great day!
